Blackbeard And His Treasure Hunt! feat. #colgatemagicalstories

A few days back I received 4packs of Colgate Toothpastes,
each having a series of pictures. My son is great lover of the Under water world and became too excited to create a story with all the characters he had!
Here is his version of the story:

Blackbeard And His Treasure Hunt!
A pirate called Blackbeard comes to know about an underwater castle in the deep sea.Being a pirate he decides to go and find it hoping to get some treasure in return.

Sadie his friend also decides to accompany him along with her parrot.

They boarded the ship and left for the treasure hunt. On their way they came across a number of sea creatures that they had never seen earlier like Dolphins,crabs,sword fish and star fish.

After sailing for many nights and days,they saw coral reefs. There sat a beautiful mermaid. Blackbeard and Sadie could not believe their eyes and went to her to see if she was real.
They gave the Mermaid a beautiful silver necklace and asked her if the Treasure story was true.

The Mermaid became happy and gave them a Treasure Map which would lead them to the hidden treasures.

They took the map happily and dived deep into the sea. After much swimming,they saw an Underwater castle that was guarded by Puffer Fish,Barracuda and Lion Fish.

Close to the Under water Castle was a Shipwreck where the Treasure was kept.

But reaching near Shipwreck wasn't easy because it was guarded by Shark and Orca Killer Whale.

Blackbeard fed the shark with the poisonous food he had kept for his safety and the shark became unconscious.

Now he had to beat the battle with the killer whale in order to reach the Treasure. When the killer whale came to attack Sadie,Blackbeard slit her with his little sword. Frightened the whale backed off and Blackbeard and Sadie reached the Treasure...

They carried all that they could and came back happy :D

Hey..!!!

Hope you all are doing great !!!
Off late things have been a bit topsy turvy on personal front..

Don't worry..we're fine and doing great but there are people around you who matter a lot and they need to be good for your perfect functioning as well. That's precisely where I need to concentrate right at the moment!
Though I can manage to continue blogging but doing something half-heartedly is a mammoth task for me.

So I thought it's best to take a SHORT break and see things getting settled a bit before I bounce back.
Meanwhile, I'll try to keep in touch through social media because all you readers are an extended family and families can't stay apart for long :)

Hola Chicaaaaas...

You guys must be wondering why I don't post much on the blog these days..

Like I'm not MIA (I'm posting and commenting on other social media) still I'm not keeping up much on the blog front!

The reason is my 22months old daughter. She hates me to have any sort of electronic gadget around me. Basically she wants all of me,JUST for her!!

So,I decided instead of waiting for THAT one fine day and pen my views on products,I would come up with mini reviews as and when possible.

Meanwhile I'm leaving all you guys with funny images of busy-bee mom life I found on google!

Its strenuous, its loss of freedom but its something super normal that everybody goes through (specially if you have nobody athome to give the child some company during your pee-n-poo-visits) and most importantly it is what I wished for!

I do miss blogging..HUGELY for that matter..but THIS is the time they need me...Priorities!

How To Stay Organized On A Low Budget: Makeup and Non Makeup (Personalized)

I still remember my "single status" days, when my room was small and the bed was huge and the study table could well be swapped for a four seater dining table. The huge furniture got the area cramped and there was less room. But it still was the best place for me in the whole wide world. It also taught me how to stay organized and make the most of the given space.
Talking of organization, I have incorporated a few stuff that makes life clutter free and organized.
Let's take a look:

1. Handbag organizer:

For all those who have multiple handbags and prefer matching them to their dress or shoes.. Your life is sorted now!!!! This alone has made things so easy and mess-free. I set up everything I need in this and keep it ready at all times. When on the go,I just slip it into my handbag without the last moment hustle-bustle of transferring things from this bag to that. Available at a quarter of a price of the handbags, it keeps me sorted!

2. Lipstick organizer/stand:

I was eyeing this for a long time and finally got it. It has 24 compartments that have room enough to make all your lipsticks fit in well. Keep the lipsticks up side down so you can read the labels/shade names. Since I have got this,I have stated using the ones that were left hidden somewhere in the stash. You can also make your concealers mascaras and eye liners stand in this. And if you think it has more compartments than you need, you can go for one that has 12 compartments. Helps me come out of the makeup rut as well,simply place the lesser used lippies infront to reach out for them more often!

3. Multi-Utility Drawers:

Available at most of the plastic stores,these multi-utility drawers are true to their name,they are multipurpose. You can store your makeup, accessories, watches, fashion jewellery etc. You can also divide it's sections into skin care products, makeup products and accessories... Whichever way suits you and your stuff collection.
Well on a different note right now my boy uses them to store his hot wheels collection :P

4. Makeup Brush Holders:

From pinterest to instagram to the local markets,the ideas of using glass jars/plastic containters/pen holders are oozing out. I bought two to keep my face brushes and eye brushes separately and they definitely make the life easier.
The price...??? I got each for 10bucks..
Plan to hoard them and use as pen stand,menus organizer,my boys colours...combs..phewwww....!! Basically hoard them :P

5. Organization Apps:

It's a tech savvy world and we are all slaves to this technology. On one hand it makes our life comfortable and on the other organized. So make use of the various apps available on your phones,tablets,laptops...to keep you organized. From to do list makers to expense organizers, you have all at your dispense. I personally use Google Keep to jot down things. It's simple, and allows you to colour code your sticky notes,set an alarm,add notes,make lists,check done jobs plus it takes voice commands.....
Long story short, it runs my household, my work and me :)

5 Rules Of Daytime Makeup

Wearing makeup in broad daylight is a tricky game! Most of us do it to cover imperfections and look prettier, more awake, and more presentable for work and life. But picking the wrong colors, formulas, and products to apply can do you a disfavour—making you look harsh, tired, and out of place, instead of the opposite.

Long story short.. Here's what to do:

1. Never skip Sunscreen:

Because of the greasiness that most of the sunscreens impart to our skin,we tend to skip it for a more fresher look. But no matter what you're doing, it's essential to always protect your skin with SPF before applying the rest of your products.

Cheat Sheet: If you are always on the go kinda gal try using the makeup base that has SPF..tadaaaa!!!

2.Let Your Lips Take The Spot-light:

Daytime makeup doesn't always need to be about a sheer lipstick or glossy natural looks. Make the focus of your look a bright lipstick in a cream formula. This will bring light and life to your look and make you stand out in a good way. Choosing a cream formula makes for easy touch ups rather than a matte formula which can get cakey over time.

3. Avoid The Falsies:

We hate to break it to you if you're a falsie addict, but false lashes are just too much for daytime. Instead, curl your lashes and use a good combination of volumizing mascara at the ends and lengthening mascara at the roots.

4. Skip The Heavy Highlight Contour:

The carving out of one's features is too harsh for daytime. Using powders to fake features isn't going to look real. Instead, opt for subtle bronzer and highlighter to give yourself a glow and define your features.

5. Avoid Too Done Up Eyes:

This should well be the first pointer. Since lips have the spot-light, go subtle with the eyes. No stark smokey eye in the day and certainly no pop of colours everywhere on the face!
That's all keep you youthful,fresh and beautiful during the daytime chicas!!!
