Haul !!! Feat. jabong.com, garnier, triveni sarees and the likes!

Hola Chicas..
The festivals have just begun and what better could be a way than to shop your heart out. So without further ado,here's a glimpse of what all I got!

Sometimes I get these bouts of paying a bit more attention to personal care and one of these bouts made me purchase skin care products from Lotus Herbals. The brand has proven safe for me over the years AND its herbal. So I got:
  • Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Sunscreen Gel SPF20 for oily to normal skin
  • Lotus Herbals Almond Youth Creme
  • Lotus Herbals Tea Tree Clear Clarifying Facepack
Got these gorgeous wedges and the MUA bronzer from jabong.com. Catwalk has been a trusted brand and these can fairly claim to be my most comfy pair of heels. The variety was truly huge and I really went bonkers choosing one. The MUA bronzer was on my list for long and finally in the stash now.Got my stuff the third day of placing the order,they have never tested my patience somehow. For easy access you may go to their app as well!

No festival is complete without the colours (errrr..I mean colour cosmetics ;) So one fine day without much intention of shopping I got these Revlon nail paints in Teak Rose, Ravishing, Peacock Blue and Royal Purple. And while choosing the paints my eyes got stuck on a lip gloss like packaging that looked exactly like Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream..it was actually Incolour Matte lip cream and I gave it a go in curiousity.

 Then I got this beautiful georgette saree in my mail sent by triveni sarees. Its a gorgeous summery saree and I can't wait to drape it. The website has a plethora of ethnic wear from sarees to suits and even lehangas. The products are well distributed ina all price ranges and they have something for everyone.

We love shopping...and there's no therapy like retail therapy...Period!!!
And we use all the ways and mediums to get what we want,whether its offline shopping or online. Online shopping website brings me to one of the leading website in the web market today...yeah..its Jabong.com
I recently got a chance to shop from Jabong.com and here are my reviews based on my experience:

My Experience:
My Jabong experience has been really good. I received my parcel within 24 hrs of making the payment. The package came with a FRAGILE sticker and the stuff was carefully bubble-wrapped. What really impressed me was the sticker on the package that says products can be checked before accepting...now who does that?
I bought Colorbar Creme Touch Lippy and a Maybelline colour show nail paint.
The overall experience was pretty good,would really appreciate if they send the stuff in a small box,rather than just bubble wrapping.
Huge variety,great range and awesome offers...I look forward to shop with them again!!!

My Shopping Experience from Jabong.com

With the changing times and lifestyles certain habits are bound to change as well. There were times when online shopping was considered scary and deceitful.People were not sure if their investment in a particular product would pay off fruitfully. But its not same anymore. Online shopping sites are  mushrooming like anything and with experience we have also become confident about our purchases from the internet. It saves time,we get our products at much more discounted rates than real time shopping,can be done at our ease in the comfort of our living rooms are only a few advantages of e-shopping.


I too got addicted to this medium of spending the hard earned money almost 3years ago,and have not regreted the experience except its financially draining ;)

My Experience:
These days I can't seem to find one site that does not have a Jabong.com advertisement floating on it. No doubt the company is planning to capture the online shopping market in India.Coming to my experience of shopping with them:

I made an order on 12th June'12,within 10 min.I got an order confirmation email and text message on my phone.I must say I was really impressed. It took them 3days to deliver it to me. Delivery was not very prompt in my case though I have read and heard others getting their orders delivered in 24hrs from Jabong.com. 
But then most of the online shopping sites take this much time to deliver their orders!
Well lets see what I ordered from them:


My order came in a neat and sturdy card board box. Apart from the products it had thermocol sheets and pieces to keep the products from flipping around in the box.


The stuff I ordered were:
  • Fab India Lemongrass Facial Spray
  • Vedicline+BB Cream - Blemish Balm Cream
  • Nature's Essence Neem Pack
Instead of a bubble wrap,all the three products were wrapped in cellophane sheet :( which I guess isn't protective enough.

Jabong's Awesomeness :-
  • A HUGE variety of products.
  • Number of brands to choose from.
  • Vibrant and lively website.
  • Has something for everyone.
  • Free shipping,irrespective of the amount of order.
  • They have several payment options -Net Banking,Credit Card,Debit Card and also COD :)
  • They have a 30days return policy too.
  • They have big and small discounts.
  • Awesome communication .
  • Ease of browsing.
  • Great discounts on shoes.
Needs to work Upon:-
  • Bubble wrapping instead of thin cellophane sheet.
All in all it was a nice experience shopping with Jabong.com.I look forward to getting some nice wedges from them :) Have shortlisted a few already :)
